Man arrested on criminal mischief charge in Clarence

CLARENCE, NY — A Buffalo man was arrested Thursday on a criminal mischief charge after a vehicle was damaged in a parking lot on Transit Road.

Thomas W. Dumond, 57, of Buffalo, was taken into custody by state troopers from the Clarence barracks.

Troopers responded to Niagara County Produce at 11:38 a.m. for a report of damage to a vehicle in the parking lot.

The investigation determined that a 2016 Dodge Ram was damaged on the passenger side door.

Troopers reviewed security footage and identified a suspect.

Dumond was arrested and processed at the Clarence barracks.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Clarence Town Court.
