Man arrested on child exploitation charge in Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — New York State Police arrested a man on a child exploitation charge on Nov. 6.

Michael R. Graveline, 38, of Watertown, was charged with one count of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

The arrest followed an investigation stemming from an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force search warrant related to the transmission of child sexual exploitation material via the internet.

The investigation was conducted jointly by members of the New York State Police Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation – Watertown, and the Massachusetts State Police.

Graveline was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
