MALONE, NY — Two people were arrested on drug and alcohol-related charges following a traffic stop during a Halloween enforcement campaign.
Officers assigned to a STOP-DWI patrol observed a vehicle operating without headlamps on Rockland Street on Nov. 2.
Police initiated a traffic stop and identified two occupants in the vehicle.
Officers observed a glass smoking device, commonly used to smoke narcotics, in plain view on the dash of the vehicle.
K9 Rodo performed an exterior search of the vehicle.
A quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl were located and seized.
Dominique White, 44, of Malone, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, conceal/destroy physical evidence, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and operate without headlamps.
Jason Fuller, 42, of Malone, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.
White was released to a sober third party.
Fuller was arraigned in Malone Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail.
