Man arrested in domestic violence incident in Dorchester

BOSTON, MA — Boston Police officers assigned to District C-11 arrested a male suspect in a domestic violence incident involving a firearm in Dorchester.

The department highlighted the dangers officers face when responding to domestic violence calls, which are among the most dangerous 911 calls police encounter daily.

Police did not release the suspect’s name or additional details about the incident.

The department emphasized that domestic violence victims are not alone and encouraged anyone in need of help to reach out to available resources.

In emergencies, residents should call 911.
