HANOVER, NH — Police arrested a man after he allegedly threatened another person with a knife during a dispute in the downtown area.
Jeremy Arpan, 47, of Concord, was taken into custody at 2:37 p.m. Nov. 5 after officers responded to a report of an armed disturbance.
Police said Arpan was involved in a verbal dispute with a motorist near Allen Street.
Arpan escalated the dispute by brandishing a knife and threatening the victim’s life, according to police.
The victim was not injured, and the knife was recovered.
Arpan was charged with criminal threatening, a Class B felony, and disorderly conduct, a violation.
He was lodged at the Grafton County Department of Corrections.
The Hanover Police Department continues to investigate the case.
