RICHFORD, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on a federal warrant and a violation of conditions of release charge following a disturbance report Nov. 5.
Police received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Main Street at 11:02 a.m.
Officers located and identified Jeffrey Brown, 34, of Richford, at the scene.
Police determined Brown was violating his conditions of release, which included a 24-hour curfew at a different location.
Brown also had an active federal arrest warrant for possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.
Brown was arrested and transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility, where he is being held on the warrant.
Brown was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Dec. 22 at 8:30 a.m. to answer the charge of violation of conditions of release.
