Man wanted on domestic assault charges found dead in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, VT — A man wanted on domestic assault charges was found dead in an apparent suicide, according to the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.

The body of Rodney Davis, 62, of Wallingford, was recovered Oct. 7 in Wallingford.

An autopsy confirmed Davis’s identity and determined he died by suicide.

Davis was wanted on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, unlawful restraint and burglary stemming from an incident on Nash Drive in Wallingford on Sept. 19 at approximately 5:19 a.m.
