UTICA, NY — Police have charged a man in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on Noyes Street.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on the 1200 block of Noyes Street on Oct. 27 regarding a burglary investigation.
The homeowner reported witnessing an individual they were familiar with inside their residence via surveillance camera.
The victim stated they witnessed the male taking property.
When the victim arrived home later, they noticed damage to their rear door, which was the apparent point of entry.
Police secured a statement from the victim and filed charges.
On Oct. 30, William Church, 42, of Utica, was located and charged with burglary in the second degree and petit larceny.
