CARIBOU, ME — Police responded to a reported assault Friday at approximately 7:15 p.m. after receiving reports that a person may have been stabbed.
Officers determined that a group of juveniles got into an altercation and one juvenile used a knife to stab another.
The suspected juvenile assailant turned himself in to the department with a parent.
Police said the public was not in danger as this was an isolated incident.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released because juveniles are involved, according to Police Chief Corey Saucier.
