Woman arrested on DUI, drug charges in Ferrisburgh

FERRISBURGH, VT — A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and cocaine possession following a traffic stop on Oct. 31.

Vermont State Police conducted the traffic stop at approximately 9:59 p.m. after observing a motor vehicle violation on Greenbush Road near the intersection with Green Meadow Lane.

The operator was identified as Mildred I. Martin, 42, of Middlebury.

While speaking to Martin, troopers observed indicators of impairment.

Martin was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI-drug, her second offense.

During the investigation, troopers discovered cocaine in Martin’s possession.

Martin was transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing.

At the conclusion of processing, Martin was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Jan. 5, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.

Troopers were assisted by members of the Middlebury Police Department.
