LEWISTON, ME — Police arrested a New Jersey man in connection with a burglary at a smoke shop on Sabattus Street.
Matthew Hamill was taken into custody on Oct. 30 in connection with the Oct. 27 burglary at Discount Smoke Shop.
Hamill was charged with burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.
The Wiscasset Police Department assisted in the investigation after recognizing Hamill from similar activity in their jurisdiction.
