Man arrested on DUI #2 charge in Duxbury

DUXBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

Troopers responded to Camel’s Hump Road at approximately 12:03 a.m. for a report of a crash.

The operator was identified as Miguel Perez, 28, of Barre City.

While speaking with Perez, troopers detected indicators of impairment, according to police.

Perez was taken into custody without incident.

He sustained minor injuries in the crash.

His 2017 Toyota 86 sustained no damage.

Road conditions at the time were wet and gravel, and it was raining.

Perez was processed at the Berlin State Police Barracks and released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on November 20 at 8:30 a.m.

This is Perez’s second DUI offense, according to police.
