Vehicle rolls over on Interstate 89 in St. Albans

ST. ALBANS, VT — A Georgia woman escaped injury after her vehicle hydroplaned and rolled over on Interstate 89 South on Friday afternoon.

Troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks were dispatched at 4:22 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash near mile marker 113.2.

The operator was identified as Tanya Lovely, 36, of Georgia.

Police said Lovely’s 2019 Toyota RAV-4 hydroplaned on the wet roadway, left the road and rolled over.

The vehicle was totaled in the crash.

Lovely was wearing a seatbelt and the airbags deployed.

She sustained no injuries.

The roadway was wet and it was raining at the time of the crash.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by Townline Towing, AmCare Ambulance and St. Albans Fire Department.
