Firearms stolen in break-in at Holliston gun store

HOLLISTON, MA — Police are investigating a break-in at Mass Firearms School where two semi-automatic rifles were stolen late Thursday night.

The Holliston Police Department was dispatched to 100 Kuniholm Drive at approximately 11:19 p.m. Oct. 30 for a report of a breaking and entering in progress.

Video surveillance from inside the building showed three individuals were on scene, with two suspects observed actively inside the firearms retail store.

Officers arrived to find the front glass door of the business had been smashed.

Officers from the Ashland Police Department arrived moments later and assisted in clearing the interior of the building to ensure no suspects remained inside.

A K-9 unit from the Framingham Police Department also responded to assist with the search.

The building was determined to be empty.

The owners of Mass Firearms School arrived on scene and confirmed that two semi-automatic rifles hanging on the wall in the front lobby had been stolen.

Video recovered from the scene confirms the suspects exited the building through the same entry point and fled the area in a vehicle prior to police arrival.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2012 or newer, four-door, light-colored sedan.

The incident remains under active investigation by the Holliston Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
