GARDNER, MA — Police are searching for a 57-year-old man who left a hospital early Friday morning.
Leonard Mercury was last seen at 2 a.m. leaving Heywood Hospital in the direction of the bike path.
Mercury is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds.
He was wearing hospital clothing and no shoes when he left the facility.
The Gardner Police Department said they are concerned for Mercury’s wellbeing and believe he may be in need of medical attention.
Anyone who sees Mercury or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked not to contact him directly.
