WATERBURY, CT — A multi-agency law enforcement operation resulted in the seizure of large quantities of narcotics and the arrest of a city resident on drug manufacturing charges.
Members of the Waterbury Police Department’s Gang Task Force, Vice and Intelligence Unit, Auto Theft Task Force, Crime Prevention Unit, along with the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force, executed multiple search and seizure warrants on Oct. 30.
The warrants were served at 109 Bristol Street and 923 Watertown Ave., as well as a person-specific warrant for Angel Dominguez, 44, of Waterbury.
Police seized 52 grams of raw heroin, 2,804 grams of cocaine, 5,570 bags of heroin, 265 grams of crack cocaine and $6,314 in U.S. currency.
Dominguez was charged with illegal operation of a drug factory, possession of 1 ounce or more of heroin/fentanyl and two counts of possession of 1/2 ounce of cocaine in free base form.
