NEW LONDON, CT — Three men face multiple drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Truman Street residence Wednesday evening.
Members of the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East and New London Police Department narcotics investigators served the warrant at 111 Truman St. at approximately 7:15 p.m. Oct. 29.
Investigators seized 26.13 grams of crack cocaine, 8.34 grams of fentanyl and 6.98 grams of MDMA/methamphetamine during the search.
Police also recovered $691 in U.S. currency, along with scales, cutting agents and packaging materials.
Headley Thomas, 36, of Hartford, was charged with three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operation of a drug factory.
Dennis Newton, 35, of New London, faces three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operation of a drug factory.
Belvon James, 36, of Hartford, was charged with three counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory and interfering with a search warrant.
