POULTNEY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on York Street Extension on Friday morning.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified of the crash at approximately 9:15 a.m. in the area of 1339 York Street Extension.
Police said Heidi Quattrocchi, 27, of Poultney, was driving a 2009 Ford Edge northbound on York Street Extension when the vehicle exited the east side of the roadway.
Quattrocchi attempted to correct the vehicle, which then exited the west side of the roadway, according to police.
The vehicle rolled onto its side before coming to rest in the southbound lane.
Quattrocchi was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries, police said.
The vehicle was totaled.
Poultney Rescue and Poultney Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Road conditions were wet and clear at the time of the crash, and weather was cloudy with rain.
A Vermont Civil Violation Complaint is pending.
