HOPKINTON, MA — A police officer extinguished a truck fire early Thursday morning after the vehicle went off the roadway.
Officer Cann responded to the area of 130 Wood St. around 4:30 a.m. for a report of a truck off the roadway.
Secondary reports indicated the vehicle was on fire.
Upon arrival, Officer Cann confirmed the occupants were out of the vehicle and worked with a town resident to extinguish the fire.
Sgt. Beloin and Officer Matos arrived on scene to assist.
The fire department arrived and took over the scene.
The operator was evaluated on scene.
