VERSHIRE, VT — A Thetford man escaped injury after his vehicle rolled into a creek Thursday morning.
James Alvarez, 24, was driving a 2019 Subaru Outback south on South Vershire Road near Miller Pond Road at approximately 7:45 a.m. when he failed to maintain his lane, according to Vermont State Police.
The vehicle exited the roadway and rolled into a creek.
Alvarez was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
The Subaru was totaled and towed from the scene by Night Owl Motorsport.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the single-vehicle rollover.
Upper Valley Ambulance and local volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
The weather was cloudy and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
