Man arrested on burglary charge in Wallkill

WALLKILL, NY — New York State Police have arrested a man in connection with the burglary of a maintenance garage at Garnet Health Medical Center.

Michael P. Senk, 71, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Oct. 25 and charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony.

The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Middletown investigated the burglary, which occurred Sept. 7 at the medical center on East Main Street.

During the investigation, police determined that a 2016 Ford dump truck had been stolen during the burglary.

The vehicle was located in the town of Poughkeepsie following a traffic stop conducted by the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department.

Senk was arraigned in the Central Arraignment Part of Orange County Court and released on his own recognizance.

He was ordered to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
