PAINTED POST, NY — A woman was arrested after a domestic incident involving her child on Oct. 26.
Troopers from SP Painted Post responded to a residence on Redwood Circle in the village of Painted Post at approximately 7:06 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident.
An investigation determined that Rheanna B. Kusek, 34, of Painted Post, was involved in a physical altercation with her 10-year-old child, in violation of a full stay-away Order of Protection previously issued by the court.
Kusek was taken into custody without further incident.
Kusek was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment in the second degree.
Kusek was processed at SP Painted Post and transported to Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment, where a new Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the child.
