ENOSBURGH, VT — A two-vehicle crash occurred on Sampsonville Road on the morning of Oct. 29.
Vermont State Police, Enosburgh EMS and Enosburgh Fire responded to the crash near 3308 Sampsonville Road at 8:35 a.m.
Initial investigation revealed that westbound traffic was slowed due to a slow-moving agricultural vehicle.
Statements from the operators involved and evidence on scene indicated that a 2015 BMW 435i, operated by Frank Richards, 32, of Montgomery, was traveling westbound and rear-ended a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Emily Richards, 30, of Montgomery, also traveling westbound.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
Emily Richards sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center.
Frank Richards was not injured.
Both vehicles also had two juveniles who were transported to Northwestern Medical Center for precautionary measures.
The BMW sustained front-end damage and the Subaru sustained rear-end damage.
Both vehicles were removed from the scene.
The roadway was reduced to one lane during the incident.
Weather conditions were clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
