DELHI, NY — A 21-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges after police responded three times to a loud party at a Main Street residence.
John T. Paschal, of Milan, was charged with Unreasonable Noise, Hosting a Nuisance Party, and Refusing to Leave a Nuisance Party, all violations of Village of Delhi Law.
Delhi Police first responded to the residence at approximately 10 p.m. Oct. 24 for a report of a loud party.
Officers observed a crowd of approximately 100 people outside the residence, shouting and playing loud music.
Paschal, identified as the tenant, told police he was hosting a birthday party.
The crowd was dispersed, and Paschal was issued an appearance ticket for violating the Village Noise Law.
Officers were dispatched to the same residence again at approximately 12 a.m. for another noise complaint.
Police observed a large group of approximately 50 people and loud music once again coming from the property.
Paschal was warned not to continue the disturbance.
Around 12:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the residence for a third time and observed a disorderly crowd estimated between 100 and 150 people in and around the property.
The crowd was dispersed, and Paschal was issued additional appearance tickets for Hosting a Nuisance Party and Refusing to Leave or Disperse from a Nuisance Party.
Paschal was released on appearance tickets returnable to Delhi Town Court on Nov. 25 at 9 a.m.
