SOUTHPORT, NY — A Southport man was arrested Oct. 25 on multiple warrants following a standoff.
Hunter J. Stone, 27, of Southport, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on charges of fleeing an officer in the third degree and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, issued by Southport Town Court on July 19, 2024.
Stone was also arrested on an active felony arrest warrant as a fugitive from justice out of Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Stone was arraigned in Southport Town Court and remanded to Chemung County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.

SOUTHPORT, NY — A Mount Morris man was arrested Oct. 27 for allegedly stealing from a thrift shop.
Rafael M. Davila, 41, of Mount Morris, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, for stealing from the Thrift Shop in the town of Southport.
Davila was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Southport Town Court at a later date.
