AUBURN, NY — A traffic stop led to drug charges for a motorist on Perrine Street.
On Oct. 26, members of the Auburn Police Department, Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department and New York State Probation Department conducted a traffic stop while assigned to a GIVE detail.
Officers identified the driver as Brandon Tape.
Police said Tape was found in possession of crack cocaine, a digital scale, U.S. currency and drug packaging paraphernalia.
Tape was transported to Auburn Police Department headquarters and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
He was transported to Cayuga County Jail for centralized arraignment.
