UTICA, NY — Police are investigating the theft of a skid steer bucket attachment reported on Sept. 24.
The case was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division based on the value of the stolen item.
Investigators determined the location of the attachment through their investigation.
The attachment was recovered in West Winfield with the owner’s assistance.
Police learned that Brandon Barletta, 32, of West Winfield, had sold the attachment to the current possessor and had no right to possess the property.
Barletta was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
