NEW HAVEN, VT — A Vergennes man was arrested on a second-offense DUI charge following a traffic stop on South Middlebrook Road.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks were on patrol at approximately 9:57 p.m. Saturday when they observed several motor vehicle violations and initiated a traffic stop.
The operator was identified as Scott A. Burnham, 54, of Vergennes.
While speaking with Burnham, troopers detected multiple indicators of impairment.
Burnham was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 10 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge of DUI #2.
