NEW LONDON, CT — A dirt bike operator was injured in a collision with a motor vehicle on Oct. 24.
New London Police and Fire personnel responded to the area of Broad Street and Center Street at approximately 7:33 p.m. for a reported accident involving a dirt bike and motor vehicle.
Emergency responders were told the dirt bike operator appeared injured.
Upon arrival, emergency service personnel located an injured male in the roadway.
Immediate medical aid was rendered and the male was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
Members of the New London Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and are conducting an active and ongoing investigation.
