NORWICH, NY — A Norwich man faces multiple charges following a domestic dispute investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.
Bryce Bauder was arrested Oct. 23 after deputies investigated a domestic dispute that occurred Oct. 19 in the Town of Norwich.
Deputies determined Bauder was involved in a domestic dispute with a victim who had an active full stay-away order of protection against him.
After initially failing to locate Bauder, the Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants.
Members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Norwich Police Department located Bauder at his residence Oct. 23, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Bauder was charged with two counts of criminal contempt in the first degree, aggravated criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, menacing in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree and burglary in the third degree.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $30,000 cash bail.
