MALTA, NY — A Troy man was arrested Oct. 15 on a charge of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Zachary A. Clark, 26, of Troy, was taken into custody with assistance from the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, according to State Police.
An investigation discovered Clark allegedly possessed images consistent with child sexual exploitation, police said.
A search warrant was executed at Clark’s residence in Troy on Oct. 15.
Clark was arrested at the scene and transported to State Police barracks in Saratoga for processing.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Malta Town Court on Oct. 16 and released.
Clark was previously arrested Feb. 15 on charges of criminal sexual act in the first degree, a class B felony, and sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony.
Troopers received information Jan. 18 that a past sexual assault had occurred.
The investigation determined that in 2018 and 2019, Clark reportedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of 11 on more than one occasion in the town of Ballston.
Clark was arraigned at Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond, or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
