JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers patrolling the area of N Main St and Fluvanna Ave observed a silver SUV traveling northbound and failing to maintain a reasonable and prudent distance from traffic on Oct. 22 at about 5:30 p.m.
Officers approached the vehicle and identified the driver as Kimberley R Mazzone.
While speaking to Mazzone, officers observed paraphernalia consistent with the use of drugs near the center console of the vehicle.
Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a quantity of Fentanyl under the driver’s seat.
Mazzone was taken into custody without incident.
Mazzone is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
She is being held pending her arraignment due to a prior failure to appear in court.
