MILFORD, MA — A wanted fugitive was taken into custody Tuesday night following an investigation by the Milford Police Department.
Robert Laspesa, 41, of Milford, was arrested at approximately 10:13 p.m. at his Main Street address.
Laspesa was wanted on a warrant for motor vehicle homicide – OUI drugs out of Arlington, Massachusetts.
Members of the Milford Police Department Patrol Unit responded to the address and took Laspesa into custody without incident.
“Our department remains committed to keeping Milford safe by conducting in-depth investigations regarding crime inside and outside our community,” said Chief of Police Robert Tusino.
“We serve the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and no wanted individual will find sanctuary in Milford,” Tusino said.
Laspesa was held without bail.
His custody was transferred to the Arlington Police Department for arraignment the following day.
