Man fatally shot in Jamaica Plain

BOSTON, MA — A man died after being shot in Jamaica Plain on Wednesday evening.

Officers assigned to District E-13 responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 15 Saint Rose Street at about 5:50 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Boston EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
