UTICA, NY — A man wanted on two felony warrants was arrested after investigators spotted him near the Kennedy Plaza apartment buildings.
Raul Dalmau, 32, of Utica, was taken into custody at approximately 10:50 p.m. Oct. 21 by officers with the Crime Prevention Unit and Oneida County Sheriff Deputies.
The warrants stemmed from an incident in July when Dalmau allegedly threatened several people with a knife.
Investigators with the GIVE Unit observed Dalmau walking near the apartment buildings and alerted the officers.
During a search following his arrest, officers found a quantity of suspected cocaine on Dalmau.
He was transported to the Utica Police Department and charged with two counts of menacing in the first degree and harassment in the second degree.
Additional narcotic charges are pending testing of the suspected contraband.
