GLEN GARDNER, NJ — A 27-year-old man faces multiple charges after an investigation into stolen firearms led to his arrest and the seizure of 15 guns.
Gabriel C. Tullo-McVicar, of Glen Gardner, was arrested Oct. 10 following an investigation that began in October into stolen property.
Authorities identified Tullo-McVicar as a suspect for possession of several stolen firearms during the investigation.
He was arrested for the illegal sale of seven firearms and was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
Tullo-McVicar was processed and lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center.
He faces charges including possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm while possessing a controlled dangerous substance, three counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, illegal transportation and sale of defaced firearms, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of stolen property, and unlawful possession of a weapon without a permit.
The stolen property charges involve two shotguns and one Sig Sauer handgun.
Second-degree crimes carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in New Jersey State Prison, while third-degree crimes carry a maximum sentence of five years.
The investigation was conducted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office and the Washington Township Police Department, with assistance from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office, the Warren County Tactical Response Team and the New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks.
