MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A three-vehicle crash on Route 38 at Marter Avenue left one woman dead Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:03 a.m.
Lisa Arge-Brown, 58, of Mount Laurel, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An adult male involved in the crash sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
The third driver was not injured.
An investigation by the Mount Laurel Police Department Traffic Bureau, including witness interviews, on-scene evidence, dash camera footage and surveillance video, determined that Arge-Brown’s vehicle contributed to the accident by improperly passing another vehicle from the shoulder of the roadway.
The investigation is ongoing.
