Man arrested on exploitation charges in Livermore Falls

LIVERMORE FALLS, ME — A 40-year-old man faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor and possession of sexually explicit material following his arrest early Wednesday morning.

Jacob Hiscock, of Livermore Falls, was taken into custody at his residence by detectives with the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South.

The charges stem from a month-long investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Sabattus Police Department, Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Warden’s Service.

Hiscock was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.

Maine State Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying any individuals involved in the case.
