WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested on drug distribution charges after police observed a transaction on Lincoln Street on Oct. 22.
Officers assigned to the Vice Squad witnessed a drug transaction between a male and female at approximately 12:40 p.m.
Gadson Mwangi, 45, of Worcester, was located in a nearby parking lot shortly after the transaction.
Police found two plastic bags on Mwangi containing what appeared to be crack cocaine and fentanyl.
Mwangi was arrested and charged with distribution of a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance and possession of a Class A substance.
The female involved in the transaction was arrested on charges of possession of a Class A substance and on an outstanding warrant.
