DANBURY, CT — Police are investigating minor damage to the front window of a building being used as Republican headquarters.
The window at 5 West Street was struck by a small rock or similar object sometime prior to Monday, causing a vine-like crack in the glass, according to the Danbury Police Department.
The incident likely occurred over the weekend.
Officers canvassed the area and found no witnesses or additional damage.
Police said there is no indication that the building was shot at or that a firearm was involved, contrary to reports circulating online.
The investigation remains active, and the Mayor’s Office has been made aware.
