BALLSTON, NY — A woman faces felony and misdemeanor charges following an investigation into alleged prostitution at a spa in Burnt Hills.
Xianju Wang, 58, of Ballston, was arrested Friday on charges of unauthorized practice of a profession, a class E felony, and prostitution, a class B misdemeanor.
Wang is accused of practicing massage therapy without a license and engaging in sexual conduct in return for a fee.
The arrest resulted from an investigation into prostitution alleged to be occurring at the 772 BH Spa in Burnt Hills.
The investigation is ongoing.
Wang was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Ballston Town Court.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations.
