CHERRY VALLEY, NY — A 24-year-old man was arrested on drunken driving charges following a property damage motor vehicle accident on Oct. 18.
Yiner Ramirez Domingo, of Marietta, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated first offense, driving on shoulders, unlicensed operator, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failed to keep right and moved from lane unsafely, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the accident and determined Ramirez Domingo was driving while intoxicated.
He was issued appearance tickets and uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Town of Cherry Valley Court at a later date.
During arrest processing, deputies discovered Ramirez Domingo was wanted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for being in the United States illegally.
He was turned over to ICE.
