ALBANY, NY — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening on Lark Street.
Officers responded to Lark Street near Colonie Street around 9 p.m. Oct. 20 for reports of an individual shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was treated on scene by the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Through investigation, it appears that the victim and the suspect had been involved in an altercation on the street at the time of the shooting.
The victim retreated to his vehicle, while the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
