FAIR HAVEN, VT — Police arrested a 33-year-old man following a domestic dispute early Friday morning.
Jesse L. Trude, of Fair Haven, was taken into custody after officers responded to a call at South Park Place at 4 a.m. Oct. 18.
Police said Trude allegedly got into a domestic dispute that caused injury to another person.
Trude also allegedly took the victim’s phone to prevent them from calling for help, according to police.
He was charged with domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services.
Trude was released on a citation to appear in Rutland District Court on Oct. 20.
He was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
