JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with resisting arrest Sunday evening.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department observed Brian A. Lowers in the area of Forest Avenue and Warner Place at about 5:57 p.m. Oct. 19.
Officers knew Lowers to have an active arrest warrant for criminal mischief in the fourth degree out of Jamestown City Court.
As officers began to place Lowers into custody, he failed to comply with officers.
After a brief struggle, Lowers was placed into custody and transported to the city jail.
Lowers is charged with resisting arrest in addition to his warrant.
Lowers is held pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
