Officer Davis learned that Goncalves Da Penha’s license was suspended for refusing an alcohol test.
He also learned there was an active default warrant for his arrest out of Westborough District Court.
Officer Jeffrey Mayer arrived to provide backup and saw Goncalves Da Penha reaching into the truck’s center console, at which point he was asked to step out of the vehicle.
