COVENTRY, NH — A 40-year-old New Hampshire man was arrested Oct. 17 on charges related to possession of child sexual abuse material, police said.
Alex Radomski of 21 Walnut Trail was arrested on an arrest warrant by Coventry police.
The case began when the Connecticut State Police Computer Crime Unit discovered more than 560 files of suspected child sexual abuse material were downloaded via the Internet, police said.
Investigation determined the files were accessed by an Internet Protocol address assigned to a Coventry address.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated that 379 of the files contained child victims previously identified by law enforcement.
Police obtained a search warrant for the residence and executed it with assistance from Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit detectives.
Several electronic items were seized and later examined by the Connecticut Forensic Science Laboratory and Computer Crimes detectives.
The examination revealed 40 files of child sexual abuse material, resulting in the arrest warrant.
Radomski was charged with promoting a minor in an obscene performance and possession of child pornography in the second degree.
He posted $200,000 court-set bond and was given a court date of Oct. 29 at GA 19 in Rockville.
