Woman arrested on fugitive warrant in Warwick

WARWICK, RI — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests on Jan. 22, including a woman wanted on a warrant out of Massachusetts.

At 12:54 p.m., troopers arrested Rayneshia Rollins, 28, of Providence, on a fugitive from justice charge.

Rollins was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Hingham Police Department for larceny-conspiracy.

The arrest occurred after troopers responded to the Kent County Courthouse in Warwick.

Rollins was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed before being transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 11:15 p.m., troopers arrested Rebecka Ortiz, 33, of North Kingstown, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 403 in East Greenwich.

Ortiz was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

She was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

At 1 a.m., troopers arrested Kevin Griffin, 33, of West Warwick, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick.

Griffin was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
