NEW WINDSOR, NY — State Police from the Montgomery barracks responded to a report of found human remains near Sloop Hill Road on Oct. 14 at approximately 1:39 p.m.
The remains were discovered during an excavation conducted by Central Hudson as part of a gas line installation project.
The Troop F Forensic Identification Unit and the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Montgomery are continuing the investigation.
The investigation is in its early stages.
