Hit-and-run crash injures pedestrian in Oakland

OAKLAND, ME — Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and fled the scene on Webb Road on Wednesday.

The vehicle hit a person with its side view mirror, causing injury, according to the Oakland Police Department.

The mirror was left at the scene.

The incident occurred Oct. 15.

Police are asking anyone with information about the owner or operator of the vehicle to contact the Oakland Police Department and ask for Sgt. Gene Richard at (207) 465-2202.
